In another thread Yuni (is she in this tribe?) mentioned listening to Rufus to pick her up when she's down. Are there Rufus songs that you turn to to make you feel better when life sucks?

Thu, June 2, 2005 - 2:48 PMYeah, even though when I feel sucky and decide to listen to Rufus, sometimes I'll listen to all the songs of his of which I have recordings (all 4 albums). It helps me to sit in the sucky feelings for a while and explore the ins and outs of those feelings, THEN I feel better; I experience consolation when I do that.
There are so many layers to some of his songs, harmonically and metaphorically, that they work for me in that way.
The songs that I usually listen to to pick me up are:
